ECB Expertise House collaborates with the Transport Ministry to prepare studies, designs for East Tafria Port Said railway project
The ECB Expertise House announced collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, represented by General Authority for Planning Transport Projects, to provide services of preparation of solutions, designs and bill of quantities to determine the track alignment for the East Tafria – Port said Railway Project.
The contract signing was held in the presence of General Eng. Hassan El-Leithy – Deputy President of the General Authority for transportation projects planning, Dr. Fatma Rashad – General Secretary, Dr.Eng. Ayman El Hadary – CEO of ECB House of Expertise and Eng. Ahmed Ossama El-Bahgy – Transportation Projects Director.
Head of the ECB Expertise House Mohamed Abdel-Ghany said that the project aims to establish a railway line to connect Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) with East Tafria – Port Said, in order to facilitate the flow of goods and containers between the two regions.
Abdel Ghany added that this project is one of many projects planned by the government to establish and provide a well function with high standards roads and transportation network serving this area and other similar areas all over Egypt. The project is a part of the state’s plan to implement a comprehensive urban development in various parts of the state, especially since the development of axes, roads and transport is an essential part of the development of new cities.
He pointed out that the development efforts undertaken by the state with its various agencies are taking place in various parts of the republic, and include all cities, and are characterized by integration with each other, which has achieved its desired goals, supports the movement of the economy and local investment, as well as, attracts foreign investment.
Additionally, the state’s development efforts facilitates raising occupancy rate in new cities and reduce urban congestion in old cities.
He elaborated that the ECB Expertise House includes a qualified team for local and international competition in various disciplines, with a total of 750 engineers in different engineering sectors. Moreover, the company is constantly providing necessary training to raise the efficiency of its employees and see what is new in the local and global markets.
The ECB Expertise House provides consulting engineering services in an integrated manner, Including integrated designs (architectural, structural, electromechanical, infrastructure planning),Project management and value engineering as well as supervising the implementation of these projects, he disclosed.
Accordingly, the ECB is accredited by the Central Bank of Egypt as one of real estate appraisal experts, Abdel Ghany concluded.
