Arabisk Real Estate Development has launched an initiative to revive Egyptian architecture in collaboration with Msaā Misr on the An-Nahar channel.
Nahar Channel devotes a constant paragraph to reviving the art of the Egyptian architecture, explaining that this art has many advantages, which are listed during the episodes of the program, said Dr. Abdelhamid Al Wazir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arabisk Real Estate Development Company and Chairman of the Support and Follow-up Committee of the New Cairo Developers Association.
He added during an interview for the Msaā Misr program with media Tahir Hamdy and media Jana Mattery that the ancient Egyptian architecture was interested in building health buildings away from the designed buildings that are currently being inaugurated, through attention to good ventilation and lighting, and the use of certain raw materials of wood and stones that contribute to providing these factors, in addition to saving energy.
Abdel Hamid noted that in the past, buildings were being inaugurated in adaptations to the surrounding environment, and with the development of Egypt, the state began to move towards cities, drawing on other cultures for construction.
He stressed that climate change will affect Egypt in the long term over the next 100 years, leading the company to launch this initiative to revive ancient Egyptian architecture, which is characterized by climate change resistance.
